BP Displacement Tool UE5

Decided to share these rather than sell because you can really do much the same thing with the mesh editor making them obsolete.

For this to work you need to enable "Geometry scripts" under plug ins.
Use the BP (Shape) you want. Add a texture to the shape.
Then Add a displacement map to the BP.

- Megascans assets have them combined with the roughness maps i believe (Green Channel).
- Polyhaven & other online texture sites also have them.
- You can use the blue channel from roughness maps usually, But it does not give great results.
- Photoshop & Paint.net with the displacement plug-ins.
You may also find Quixel Mixer handy.

Shapes:
Box
Capsule
Cone
Cylinder
Disc
Rectangle
Sphere
Stairs Curve
Stairs Straight
Torus

General use:
Plane = Roads & Paths.
Box = Bricks, walls, floors, ceilings & Roofs
Stairs = Stairs.
Spheres = Planets
e.t.c.

When finished tuning your object, use the mesh options to convert the BP into a Static mesh & place in your level.

You can chain it all up to do custom meshes & shapes. Be warned it slows your PC down way to much.
